Feed Weight Chart

It is important to feed by weight and not volume, such as scoops or coffee cans. A three pound coffee can will often hold more than three pounds of feed because feed is denser. The tables below provide the weights of various horse feeds and hay pellets to help you ensure you’re feeding your horse appropriately.
